Todays Tip: Global Max Hours
Global Max Hours are the maximum alotted hours someone can work across all of their positions within a given organization.
Example: Billy is a Lifeguard and Front Desk attendant. He has two different managers creating his two schedules. The Lifeguard manager has his max hours per week set at 10 hours and his Front Desk manager has his max hours per week set to 15 hours. (found on the Manage Availability screen)
Why this is helpful - #1 If you set his Global Maximum Hours to 14, when each schedule is generated it will ensure that it doesn't exceed to total 14 hours, regardless of what the managers have set his individual position max hours to be.
Why this is helpful #2 If you set his Global Maximum Hours to 14, when Billy attempts to pickup or swap shifts, the Pending Request entry will indicate the total hours (14) across the organization , not just within your specific position and will allow you to approve or deny his request based on this information.
